A warning has been issued to other motorists in Kildare after one driver appeared to have poo thrown at their vehicle recently.

The unsavoury incident was reported on the Naas Town community Facebook page on Monday.

A user posted: "Now not only do you need to be aware of stepping in dog poo everywhere you go, but also of flying dog poo! This nice gift was launched from some lovely person no doubt, and landed on my car bonnet after hitting the windscreen, as I crossed the bridge near the swimming pool!"

While some followers were shocked by the incident with one suggested it was happening to a lot of Tesla owners in the county, others pointed out a potentially innocent explanation.
