Unusual reason for driver parked on disabled parking space without a permit

Naas Community Gardai on duty at Naas Courthouse in Co Kildare last week found a car parked in a disabled parking park without a disability parking permit.
The driver admitted to gardaí that the vehicle didn't have a permit.
The driver was waiting for a family member who was attending Naas District Court.
During this interaction, a car with a disabled bay permit pulled up but couldn't park in the bay.
A €150 fine was issued to the driver and driver was directed to leave the parking space.

Gardaí said: "Remember, misuse of these spaces or permits can cause significant hardship for individuals with limited mobility."
