The woman was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries. She was pronounced deceased yesterday evening.

Gardai at Newbridge, Kildare are appealing for information in relation to a 'hit and run' road traffic collision which occurred on April 5 2025 at 10pm.
The collision occurred on Standhouse Rd Newbridge at the junction of Standhouse Lawns.
A young boy was knocked off his e-bike and suffered injuries to his shoulder and ankle.
The offending vehicle, a black coloured Volkswagen Golf was travelling from the Curragh direction and failed to stop.
The vehicle was seen travelling towards the junction of Morristown Road.
Gardai are particularly interested in anyone who was in the area and who may have seen this black Volkswagen Golf or anyone who has dash cam footage.
