Brand new Kildare café gets green light from planners (File Photo)
Planning permission has been granted for a retail unit to be converted into a café.
The new facility will be in Rye House, a protected building on Main Street, Maynooth in Co Kildare.
Kildare County Council granted planning permission to Kildare-based Wellbreak Unlimited Company for this project.
Planners approved the change of use of the existing ground floor retail unit to use as a cafe.

The green light was also given for the change of use of an existing first floor apartment to use as office.
There will be alterations to the existing layouts and refurbishment works to the exiting roof and shopfront.
There will be a retractable awning on the front of the building and painted signage on the existing timber shopfront.
The estimated construction value of the project is over €600,000, according to Construction Information Services database.
