A number of local politicians have been complaining about congestion and some accidents at the entrance to the store car park off North Main Street.

Naas mayor Fintan Brett asked if KCC had plans to upgrade the road markings there to highlight the ‘’no right turn’’ at the exit.
KCC pointed out that this area “is within the jurisdiction of Dunnes Stores” and the council can’t propose or begin works on private lands.
Responding, Mr. Brett said that Dunnes Stores should be asked to “put up better signs” in an apparent reference to ongoing problems at the entrance added “the mayhem continues.”
