Kildare hotel applies for massive €10.7m extension

A Naas hotel has applied for a substantial €10.7m, 70 room extension to its premises.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), Clane Inn Limited has applied for an extensive development of its premises at Maudlins House Hotel, Dublin Road, Naas, Kildare.

The plans are comprised of 70 aparthotel rooms over six floors, with an office and linen room at ground floor, a linen room on all upper floors, two passenger lifts, a roof level plant room and all associated ancillary works.

All goods deliveries will continue to the existing delivery yard and the existing Maudlins House hotel entrance and frontage to the Dublin Road is to remain unchanged.

Foul and surface water discharge are to be connected into the existing foul and surface water systems (network on site) with final discharge to the public mains.

CIS states the planning is made further to planning applications 98/500157, 00/500113, 00/500124, 02/500024, 07/500124 & 20/294.

The architect in charge of the project is Clarke and Company Engineers & Architects.
