Kildare/Carlow Roads Policing has provided an update on seized vehicles for the past week.
According to gardai, a total of 41 vehicles were seized in the past week for:
No Insurance
No Tax
No NCT
Unaccompanied Learner Drivers
Disqualified Drivers

The Naas Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in Monasterevin, Carbury and Celbridge last weekend.
Following ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) hits for no insurance - they seized five vehicles.
A garda statement issued on social media stated: “We’re out in force. If you’re not road legal — we’ll find you and seize your vehicle. Using the Garda Mobility App, we’re targeting uninsured and unsafe vehicles.
“We can’t be everywhere — but we could be anywhere. No Insurance? No Excuse.
