Naas girl Chloe Cox, who boxes out of Setanta Boxing Academy, Newbridge claimed Gold in the U19 National Boxing championships held in the National Stadium Dublin.
The Kildare fighter was a year younger than much of her competition and had to over come highly decorated opponent Keely Stevens of Charlestown BC in the final.
After coming out on top in the fantastic decider, Chloe now joins the National U19 team in the High Performance Institute Abbottstown in the hope of selection for international duty.
