An Garda Síochána Kildare took part in the national #SlowDownDay on Monday, September 1 last.

Multiple speeding offenders were detected at one location during the day by Kildare gardai.

On Monday morning, September 1 in Donadea (a 60 km/h zone), the following speeds were detected by #NaasRPU:

100 km/h;

92 km/h;

and 91 km/h.

These offences resulted in a €160 fine for each motorist, and three penalty points being issued to each driver.

Speed enforcement operations continued throughout Kildare and Carlow on September 1.

The message from An Garda Síochána Kildare is: “Please #SlowDown and help keep our roads safe. #NaasRPU.”
