Pedestrian crossing on this Kildare road needs to be safer

Shopping centre crossing needs 'particular attention'

Warning signs should be put in place to alert drivers that pedestrians are crossing the road ahead.

Independent Ireland councillor Ger Dunne wants Kildare County Council to place the signs on Monread Avenue.

He said motorists need to be made aware of aware of the "upcoming pedestrian crossing" on the road.

He said the crossing at the shopping centre on Monread Avenue in Naas "is particularly in need of attention."
