Fashion designer, Aideen Cross will be running a special event for Culture Night on Friday, September 19 from 5pm to 6.30pm at Rathangan local library.
‘Stitched Memories’ will be an exhibition of textile memory pieces that were created by Rathangan ladies group as part of Creative Ireland funding. It will include a screening of a short video of the story of the ladies’ journey as they created the art.
The group is also doing a call out to anyone who has textile pieces or memorabilia that has a history or story to tell and has connections to our local area.

It can be old quilts, flags , old uniforms or hat, or table cloth , christening robe ,wedding dress or even an old apron. Any textile item that has history. Contact Aideen for further information.
