A planning application has been submitted to Kildare County Council for the proposed construction of seven new houses at Main Street, Castledermot, Athy, Co Kildare R14 P228.
The estimated cost of the development – proposed by promoter APD Partnership - is €1.2m.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), the proposed plans consist of the following:
the demolition of a 25m2 single storey garden shed and 2.5m high boundary wall to main street.
Seven houses: One townhouse with 23.5m2 private open space to rear on corner with Main Street and a new road providing vehicular & pedestrian access to the development. (House no.1)
Six flat - roofed terrace houses: One to be two storey with 22m2 private open space (House no.2) and five (House no.'s 3 -7) to be three-storey with a set-back third floor with 12m2 roof terraces and 14.2-17.5m2 private open space to rear.
provision of seven on curtilage parking spaces (one space per dwelling), four visitor bicycle spaces and amenity areas and;
inclusive of all associated works, landscaping planting and boundary treatments, infrastructure, lighting, foul/surface drainage, site works, necessary to facilitate the development on a site of 1,388m2.
The architect for the project is Pames Developments Limited.
