Fans of "Downton Abbey", the period drama on television - and now also in the cinema - can get a sense of 'big house' glamour in Naas on Tuesday, October 7.

Fans of "Downton Abbey", the period drama on television - and now also in the cinema - can get a sense of 'big house' glamour in Naas on Tuesday, October 7.
Historian Stephanie Jones will give a presentation on 'Lady Albreda Bourke" to the Naas Local History Group at their open meeting in the Town House Hotel at 8pm.
Lady Albreda lived at Roseborough House near Johnstown and was greatly involved in society and charitable activities in the county.
She had a particular connection with St David's Church of Ireland in the county town.
All are welcome on the night.
