Leah McManus Motorworx MINI Graduate Mondello Park 2025
Leah McManus, from Caragh Co. Kildare came away with a win at Mondello on her Senior Rallycross debut over the weekend.
Having just turned 17 years old, she made the move to Senior Rallycross in the new MINI Graduate Class. Having fitted the relevant upgrades to her usual Motorworx Rallycross MINI, she was happy with the car in its new spec, but said she would have liked more seat time to get used to the different characteristics.
In extremely windy and wet conditions, the debutant had a fantastic first outing and, after some great battles with competitor Alex Conlan, she came away with the win on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Kildare woman competes in both ICCR Circuit Racing, in the Patch Tyre Equipment Junior MINI Challenge and in IRX Rallycross in the Cluna Contracts Junior Rallycross Series.
Long term, the Caragh driver is aiming to compete more in the UK and having done so at Pembrey in Wales and Lydden in the south of England, where she scored a heat win just last month.
