Ballyoulster United AFC in Celbridge in Co Kildare is gearing up for a night of glitz, glamour and good fun with its upcoming “Lip Sync Legends” fundraiser, taking place on Friday, November 7th, 2025 at the Westmanstown Conference Centre on the Kildare/Dublin border.
The event promises to be one of the highlights of the local social calendar, as club members, parents, and supporters take to the stage to perform some of the biggest hits in pop history — all in the name of raising vital funds for the club.
The judging panel for the evening features an impressive lineup of well-known faces.
Danielle Websdale (@dannithemammy), a popular digital creator with over 53,000 followers, joins the panel alongside George McMahon, best known for his long-running role as Mondo in RTÉ’s Fair City.
Also judging on the night will be Joe Neville TD, who represents North Kildare in Dáil Éireann, and award-winning sports broadcaster Marie Crowe, named Journalist of the Year in 2024.
Adding extra excitement to the fundraiser is the club’s Mega Draw, where supporters can win two tickets to the Ireland v Portugal game at the Aviva Stadium. Entries cost €10 each, with participants welcome to enter as many times as they wish.
The event is being held in partnership with Fundraising Events Group and Lip Sync Battle Fundraisers, with Cunninghams Funeral Directors and The Kil Drought Lounge, Celbridge named as the main sponsors.
Ballyoulster United AFC, known for its strong community spirit and commitment to youth development, hopes the night will raise much-needed funds to continue improving club facilities and supporting local football.
