Hospital overcrowding figures stay relatively low in Kildare

Kildare's Naas General Hospital advises patients with non-emergency conditions to seek assistance from other parts of the health service

Three patients were treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown also had three patients on trolleys and Tallaght Hospital had none. These were the least overcrowded facilities in the eastern region.

Beaumont Hospital haf 15 trolleys, Portlaoise Hospital had six and there were none at Tullamore Hkospital.
