A planning application has been submitted to Kildare County Council by William Neville and Sons Construction Limited (WN Developments) for construction of 98 homes in Sallins, Co Kildare as part of Phase 2 of a development.
The proposed scheme (Phase 1 & Phase 2), at Sallins Link Road & Clane Road, Sallins, Co Kildare comprises of 171 residential units in total, as well as a creche.
According to Construction Information Services, planning application number 2561388 was submitted to the local authority for consideration on December 5 2025.
The Architect for the project is Halley Murphy & Associates.
Phase 2 plans are comprised of 98 residential units consisting of:
73 houses comprising:
23 2-storey 2 bedroom semi-detached/terraced houses,
42 2-storey 3-bedroom semi-detached/terraced houses,
4 2-storey 3-bedroom detached houses and
4 3-storey 4-bedroom semi-detached houses;
2 apartment and duplex blocks (Blocks 1 and 6) containing 25 no. units (10 1-bedroom and 15 2-bedroom units), all with associated terraces or balconies;
Block 1 at 3-4 storeys containing 4 1-bedroom and 4 2-bedroom duplex units, 4 1 bedroom apartments and 8 2-bedroom apartments;
Block 6 at 3-storeys containing 2 1-bedroom and 3 2-bedroom apartments

The development will also include:
Creche located at ground floor in Block 6;
Vehicular and pedestrian access from Sallins Link Road and pedestrian access from Clane Road;
Internal access roads and surface level car parking serving Phase 1 and Phase 2 (196 spaces in total), bicycle parking and bin storage;
Public open spaces including multi-use games area (MUGA), communal open space, landscaping, boundary treatments and all associated site development works and services.
