A final decision on the application is expected by February 12.
Plans have been unveiled for major development works at a Hotel in Johnstownbridge in Enfield in Co Kildare.
Details of the proposed development were revealed as part of a new planning application submitted by Hamlet Court hotel on December 10.
The plans include the construction of a new wellness facility which will include two sauna units, two hot tub units and a jacuzzi along with a reception building with changing rooms and toilets.
The development outlines plans for two new Padel courts, Bicycle parking, Car parking including two EV charging spaces.
The application also revealed intention to install a rainwater harvesting system, connection to existing hotel watermains, foul sewer and surface water facilities on site, new site boundary treatment and all associated site works.

Documents have been submitted to Uisce Éireann for confirmation of feasibility and site layout approval in relation to the installation of these new systems on the premises.
The planning application which currently has a pre-validation status confirms that no Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) license or waste license is required for the project as the location isn't deemed as a protected structure.
The planning authority will consider if the site notice complies with all regulations and that the information submitted in the application is deemed correct before coming to a decision.
The application states that any submissions or observations on the proposed development must be submitted to Kildare County Council by January 22, 2026.
A final decision on the application is expected by February 12.
