Top students are honoured at one of Kildare's best known schools

Naas CBS were delighted to welcome back students from the  Leaving Certificate class of  2025.

Vova Batkov, Josh Mbala

They made a brief return to accept awards made to them at an annual event staged at the school.

Naas CBS vice principal Anne Marie Corcoran said the event was a “wonderful opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge the academic and extra - curricular achievements of the students during their time in (the post primary school).”

Micheál Parker

Over 20 students received awards for excellence for achieving over 550 points in their Leaving Certificate exams.  

Max Rosen

Some eight students were presented with awards for their leadership and contribution to school life.

Cézar Babitchi

The James Fanning Award for the best  Leaving Certificate went to Dara Ryan while the best all round student was Max Rosen who won the Denis Dunning award.

Taweed Haque made an outstanding contribution to the life of the school and Peter Healy’s Construction Studies project landed the David Phelan award.

Cézar Babitchi landed the sports award and Micheál Parker took the  Dr Lawlor history award. Callum Casey and Vova Batkov landed the Liam McManus and Josh Mbala bursaries respectively.
