Customers at well known Kildare supermarket 'are abusing traffic rule'

Dunnes Stores, Naas

Kildare County Council has been asked to tackle the poor driving habits of some customers leaving Dunnes Stores in Naas.

Cllr Fintan Brett wants KCC "in conjunction with Dunnes" to examine placing bollards on the main road.

He said this should be considered to "prevent the rampant abuse of the no right turn at the exit."

(Drivers leaving the premises should not turn right on to the main street).

Cllr Brett has also called for a "variable message board" at the entrance to inform the public (about) the available carparking spaces at the premises.
