A motorist has been reprimanded by gardaí for their decision to park in a disabled bay which is located in County Kildare.
According to the official An Garda Síochána Kildare page on Facebook, the incident occurred yesterday (January 7 last) on the Main Street of Naas.
The page further said: "Our approach is simple, so please listen up; zero tolerance.
This behaviour will never be accepted.
The page continued: "Disabled bays are few in number and are required by those who need them most — not for convenience, not for excuses.
"An FCPN [Fixed Charge Penalty Notice] has been issued [to the driver of the vehicle].
"We will continue to enforce this standard without hesitation."
The page concluded: "Respect accessibility or face the consequences."
