Plans have been lodged for a major €521,000 extension to the Round Towers GAA clubhouse at St Brigid’s Park on Old Road, Kildare Town.

The proposed development will see the construction of a single-storey extension to the south-west, or rear, of the existing clubhouse.

The new space will be used to accommodate a gym, along with all associated and ancillary works.

The project aims to enhance the club’s facilities for players, members and the wider community.

If approved, the new gym extension will represent a significant investment in sporting infrastructure in Kildare Town and is expected to support the continued growth of Round Towers GAA.
