Man sustained injuries in a slash hook assault near a town centre in Kildare - court allegation

A slash hook was used in an alleged assault near the town centre in Naas.

Before Naas District Court was Robert Leahy, 32, whose address was given as Oak Park, Naas, on an allegation of assault at The Alley, Fairgreen, Naas, on November 21, 2025.

Sgt Dave Hanrahan said it will be alleged that the injured party sustained injuries to his hands, head and stomach.

The case was adjourned to July 1 by Judge Desmond Zaidan and he remanded the defendant on continuing bail.
