Traffic calming measures are needed in Ballymore Eustace.
Cllr Anne Breen told a Naas Municipal District committee meeting that speeding has become a safety issue at Barrack Street.
Cllr Evie Sammon said the issue was raised two years ago
Kildare County Council official Mark McLoughlin said the initial drawings for the scheme are done and a survey will determine whether traffic calming measures are warranted under the relevant guidelines and standards.

If the survey identifies speeding as a significant issue, the findings can be shared with An Garda Síochána to assist with enforcement measures where required.
