€93k - 'Change of Use' to community dance studio/sensory gym proposed in Kildare

A €93k 'change of use' of a premises to a community dance studio/sensory gym has been planned for a site in Kilcullen, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), Kilcullen Community Childcare and Education Centre applied to Kildare County Council for planning permission 2660233 on March 4 2026.

The address of the proposed site is: Community Complex, Newbridge Road, Kilcullen, Co Kildare.

The proposed development consists of:

• Change of use of existing first floor storage area to proposed community dance studio including new fenestration to side (western) and rear (southern) elevations at first floor level with new entrance door to front (northern) elevation at ground floor level;

• Change of use to section of existing ground floor storage area to proposed sensory gym;

• Proposed single storey extension with balcony & railing over to rear of existing unit;

• Proposed two storey enclosed escape stairwell to rear of existing unit;

• Demolition of existing rear boiler house and relocation of same to side of existing unit along with all site development & facilitating works.

The architect for the project is Murphy Design & Building Solutions Limited
