“Straight away you can tell everything is cooked fresh to order,” they said. “Golden batter, proper crispy chips and a loaded kebab tray. No shortcuts here.”

The post highlighted the quality and portion sizes on offer, describing the food as “fresh, hot and serious portions”, while teasing a final score to be revealed in a follow-up.

The visit has already attracted attention online, with local food lovers and followers engaging in the comments as the Food Twins continue their tour of eateries around the country.

Chippers remain a staple of Irish food culture, particularly in smaller communities like Nurney, where local takeaways often serve as a social hub as well as a go-to for quick meals.

The latest review is expected to bring increased interest to the Kildare spot, as social media continues to play a growing role in highlighting independent food businesses across the county.
