A family resource centre located in County Kildare has announced its latest fundraising drive, which will take place inside a popular supermarket.
A post which was submitted a local community group's Facebook page explained that Newbridge Family Resource Centre (FRC) will host a bucket collection at the Dunnes Stores branch in Newbridge this weekend.
According to Newbridge FRC's official website, it aims to "provide a variety of Community Development and Family Support Programmes for children, adults and and families" living in the town.

The post also said that Newbridge FRC are seeking sponsors ahead of the event: "If there are any local businesses that would like to engage with Newbridge FRC as a corporate or philanthropic sponsor, please do not hesitate to contact Ellen on 045 438 173.
"You can sponsor an event, activity or give back to your community on a corporate governance level and it will be very gratefully received."
The post concluded: "Every cent helps keeps these vital services in our community."
