A woman made allegations against her husband while she was in Germany to the police there, the man claimed at Naas District Court.

The man said, at a family law hearing, his wife is a citizen of Germany and  she did this while in that country.

He further claimed that she left Ireland because she was angry with him and he claimed that she attacked him and his child while drinking. He claimed she is “pathalogically jealous.”

Judge Desmond Zaidan told the man he would “reluctantly” grant him an interim protection order. The woman was not present or represented.

The judge also told the man, who is not originally from Ireland, that he could bring a separate application in relation to access to his child.

Judge Zaidan adjourned the matter to June 22.
