Appeals are being made for Naas to follow in the footsteps of Dublin and set in motion Christmas preparations. A public meeting is being held at Kavanagh's pub in Naas this evening in a bid to motivate people to get into the Christmas spirit now. Local FF Cllr Rob Power said : ''Brown Thomas already have their store up so it’s not before time we start working on how our town should look around the Christmas period. With little over three months to go I’m holding an open meeting to get a few heads together to drum up some ideas and get working on making Naas a great place to visit in December. It is anticipated that the open meeting kicking off at 6.30p.m. will cover plans for marketing ideas on how to attract footfall to Naas this Christmas.
