New Dublin to Belfast train launched

The first of the newly-refurbished Enterprise trains has gone into service on the Belfast to Dublin line. The launch has been hailed as a “significant milestone” in the £12.2m (€16.67m) upgrade programme. Translink said the new-look trains have a purple, red and grey colour scheme, plush carpets, new tables and lighting.
 The company added that once all the trains are completed, a new electronic seat reservation display will come into operation.
