Kildare business group to get social media networking tips from expert

Network Ireland Kildare Branch is hosting their monthly business networking event with social media expert Dorcas Reamonn next week. The event, in conjunction with Kildare County Enterprise Board, takes place in the Kilashee House Hotel on Tuesday, April 19 at 7.30pm, Dorcas (pictured) has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from UCD and a Master’s of Science degree in E-Commerce (Technical) from DCU. The businesswoman has also worked at Intel Ireland in Leixlip and has taken her on to further success as the co-owner of business training firm 'Talentpool Ltd'. The Kildare Post and KildareNow are trusted Media Partners of Network Ireland Kildare Branch. Dorcas said: “Twitter and LinkedIn are such valuable business tools available to any business. "However, we have to know how to harness and exploit these outlets. I will be discussing these critical issues with Network Ireland Kildare Branch.” Stella Johnson, Network Ireland Kildare President said: “I often hear how Twitter and LinkedIn are such great avenues for our businesses. "But do we really know what to do so our businesses can reach their full potential on these platforms? "I am excited to hear Dorcas’s words of wisdom. I have heard Dorcas speak, and I know her ideas transfer into real-time solutions for our businesses.” The event is open to both men and women, members and guests are welcome to attend and bring a colleague. Network Ireland Kildare Branch members attending this event will also have the opportunity to register for a social media workshop run by LEO in conjunction with Dorcas. This workshop will take place on Thursday 12 May at a cost of only €30 for the first ten to register on the night. Network Ireland Kildare Branch is an organisation for women in business, the professions and the arts. With eight branches around Ireland, Kildare is currently one of the largest, providing a forum where women in business, the professions and the arts can exchange ideas and increase their connections and contacts.
