Sue Ellen from Dallas is coming to Newbridge today

Dallas star Linda Gray when visits Newbridge Silverware today. From 11.30am until 1pm, Linda will be signing a limited number of copies of her book “The Road to Happiness is Always Under Construction”. Linda is most noted for her role in Dallas as Sue Ellen Ewing, the long-suffering wife of JR. She was nominated for an Emmy and two Golden Globe Awards for her role. This will mark the fourth visit by Linda to Newbridge Silverware. She first visited in 2007 along with Charlene Tilton, who co-starred with her in Dallas as Lucy Ewing and returned in 2008 with her friend, the late Larry Hagman who played her on-screen husband in the show, JR Ewing. Her latest visit to Newbridge was in 2009 when she was accompanied by Patrick Duffy who played Bobby Ewing in Dallas. Newbridge Silverware CEO William Doyle said: “We are delighted to welcome Linda back for her fourth visit. She is an amazing lady and a great friend of Newbridge. "It will be a pleasure to have her return and for our customers to have the chance to meet Linda, a marvellous lady.”
