Telematic systems provider FleetBoard has announced the appointment of Leixlip-born Brian Phillips to the position of sales manager. A fully qualified HGV mechanic, Brian has a background in both sales and service, having worked as a sales manager for a well-known car brand and in vehicle diagnostics. In his new role, based at Motor Distributors Ltd. on the Naas Road, Brian will have overall responsibility for the sale of FleetBoard services to fleet operators throughout Ireland. Commenting on the appointment, Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle sales manager in Ireland, Fergus Conheady said: “Since Fleetboard was introduced here it has proven to be immensely valuable to fleet operators in their quest to increase efficiency, reduce operating costs and gather detailed vehicle performance data. Brian will bring his 19 years of motor industry experience – which includes work in the field of army vehicles – to the contacts he will be having with fleet operators.”
