By Kim O’Leary ‘The Father Ted Experience' is the ultimate night out for fans for the internationally acclaimed smash hit Television Show ‘Father Ted' and it is set to take place on Thursday, December 28 at 7.30pm at the Glenroyal Hotel, Straffan Road, Maynooth. Tickets cost €20 and the show features stand-up comedians Joe Rooney who played ‘Father Demo' in the original TV show along with Patrick McDonnell who played ‘Eoin McLove' also in the original TV show who both will have the audience in laughter from the start. The live band are The Afters Band who, dressed as priests, play the music and hits which featured in the TV show over the years such as ‘My Lovely Horse', ‘Songs Of Love Father Ted Theme', ‘Ghost Town', ‘My Lovely Mayo Mammy' as well as some unholy party hits. Audiences are encouraged to participate and e dress up for a Father Ted Experience and maybe even a heath of ‘The Lovely Girls Competition'! It's sure to be an entertaining and fun night for fans of the hit show!
