A husband and wife team who provide home care services in Kildare have officially launched their new office in Newbridge. Home Instead Senior Care is a service that was set up by Enda and Amanda Bohan in 2009, and they provide care to the elderly in Kildare, Laois, Carlow and Kilkenny. The service they provide is aimed at allowing elderly people to live in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible. Having previously occupied offices in Kilcullenand Kilkenny City, Home Instead have now combined offices in their new office on Main Street in Newbridge in order to move to a larger, more central premises to house their growing team and home care business hub. A smaller satellite office will remain in Kilkenny City. “We care for over 300 of clients and employ over 400 care givers and support staff and with a growing demand for home care services we needed a larger, more efficient office to be able to meet this demand. We had a great start in Kilcullen and are grateful for the support, encouragement and friendship that we encountered since our first day in 2009”, said Amanda Bohan, Co-Owner and Managing Director of Home Instead Senior Care. The new office was officially opened on Friday afternoon in Newbridge. Amanda continued: "Our mission is to enhance the lives of older people and their families. This energises both Enda and I and our office based and caregiving team. We are thrilled to continue offering quality person centred home care that has such a positive impact on families in the local community. Our team, drawn from the local community, are passionate about caring for older people and have a combination of senior care expertise and real local knowledge. We look forward to building our team and boosting jobs drawn from the local community while caring for older adults to help them remain living in their own home for as long as possible”.
