Local Company Weatherseal Insulation teams up with World Leader ICYNENE

Established in 1986, ICYNENE Inc. offers a complete portfolio of high-performance spray foam insulation solutions. In the past 30+ years, Icynene spray foam insulation has been installed in more than 425,000 residential and commercial projects, in 30 countries including here in Ireland since 2004.  

  Gerry Sheridan is the Irish Distributor for ICYNENE in Ireland and says: "We are delighted to partner with Weatherseal and as the market leader worldwide, teaming up with Weatherseal here in Ireland was a perfect fit as they have 10 years experience in the industry and are the market leaders here in Spray Foam Insulation. "  

  ICYNENE was recently awarded Agrément certification to comply with Irish Building regulations along with it's BBA and ETA and CE. Mark Swords, Senior Energy Consultant with Weatherseal says " working with Weatherseal now for over 9 years has been great and since ICYNENE received it's certification specifically for Ireland it made sense that we should work with the world leader.  ICYNENE is superior to every other foam on the market due to it's low water absorption figures and lack of chemicals as it's 100% water blown. It's suitable for meet the requirements of existing houses and new builds."  

  Founded  in 2008, Weatherseal has grown from 3 employees to 12.  

  From their office based in Johnstown, Naas , Co.Kildare Weatherseal service Kildare and surrounding counties.
