47 new homes have been confirmed for Allenwood after Kildare County Council granted planning permission for a large new development in the area. The new houses will be built in The Willows, and building company JAJ Construction Limited will carry out the construction of the development. The development will cost in the region of €4.7 million, and will consist of 2 four-bed semi-detached dormer bungalow dwellings; 2 four-bed semi-detached two storey dwellings; 6 four-bed semi-detached three storey dwellings, 6 three-bed terraced two storey dwellings, 7 four-bed detached two storey dwellings and 24 three-bed semi-detached two storey dwellings together with new access off local road L1020, all ancillary internal access roads (including an extension of the existing estate road within The Willows estate), infrastructure, landscaping and boundary treatments, and all associated site and development works and services.
