Naas needs tourist information kiosk during Punchestown week - Cllr

Sallins politician Cllr Carmel Kelly has called for a 'pop-up information booth' in Naas town centre during Punchestown.
The facility on the Main Street would be aimed at the thousands of visitors in the area for the National Hunt Festival.
Cllr Kelly called for the initiative to be organised by Kildare Co Council in co-operation with Kildare Fáilte.
Last month's Punchestown Festival achieved an all-time attendance record of 122,557 racegoers over five days.
That's an increase of 8,019 from 2016.
The AES Family Day on the final day saw crowds of 34,370, up 4,335 from the same day last year.
Councillor Anne Breen also asked if the Council would consider providing general information on tourism, activities, businesses to the public in the Town Hall foyer.
