Naas District Court was told they own a business

A father claims that his son is trying to force him out of a business they jointly own.

The father made the claim at Naas District court during a family law hearing at which the son was neither present nor represented.

The father said the son screamed and shouted at him at the business outlet in front of people.

“He’s been very demonstrative of forcing me out of business,” the man said, adding "either I fight him physically or bow to his aggression.”

The man told Judge Catherine Hayden that the son is a director of the business which they own on a 50/50 basis.

“He has threatened to sack me," he added.

Judge Hayden granted him an interim protection order. The judge added that the gardaí would serve the order on the son.
