A man in his 20s has tragically drowned following a drowning incident in county Kerry on Tuesday.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the incident where the young man encountered difficult in the water at Killarney, at approximately 3.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.

The man was removed from the water and was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
