Cancer awareness event for men to take place in this Kildare region

The educational talk will be delivered by a nurse from the Marie Keating Foundation
A cancer awareness event aimed at men is due to take place soon in one County Kildare region.
Newbridge Family Resource Centre (NFRC), in association with the cancer awareness and prevention charity, the Marie Keating Foundation, will deliver the educational talk later this week.
According to NFRC, a nurse from the Marie Keating Foundation will provide ‘valuable information’ on:
- Cancer awareness and early detection
- Screening programmes
- Where to find support and reliable information
- Recognising signs and symptoms
- Reducing cancer risk through healthy lifestyle choices
