Santa arrives in Naas today to kick-start Christmas

The streets of Naas will be filled with festive cheer today when Santa, his reindeer and elves arrive at the Town Hall at 2pm.

Santa will officially turn on the Christmas lights at 5pm when he will illuminate 10 Christmas trees, 20 wall features and two cross-street features.

Santa will make the grotto at the Town Hall his home from 2pm to 5pm over the next three Saturdays.

Visits with Santa including a present are free of charge thanks to donations from Naas Town traders and organisations.

People can also start their Christmas shopping by shopping local at the Town Hall Christmas Market.

Christmas events in Naas are organised in association with Naas Town Traders Christmas Project 2016 and Kildare County Council.
