Six Kildare participants in this weekend's Corinthian Challenge for Irish Injured Jockeys

The challenge of a lifetime is set to return this weekend with the opening race of the Corinthian Challenge Charity Race Series in aid of Irish Injured Jockeys taking place at Naas Racecourse on Sunday, August 27. 

Martina Dempsey, Niamh Ashe, Katy Brown, Vivienne Connolly, Damien Moore and Anna Cropper from Kildare are set to take on the challenge of a lifetime and raise awareness and funds for the national charity also. The Corinthian Challenge Series comprises of three races at Naas, The Curragh, and Leopardstown Racecourses over a three month period from August to October. In addition to getting race fit and staying sound, each rider has been tasked with the further challenge as each aim to raise €10,000 for benefitting charity Irish Injured Jockeys. This year’s Corinthian Challengers include Martina Dempsey, Niamh Ashe, Damien Moore, Vivienne Connolly, Katy Brown, Anna Cropper, Eimear O’Gorman, Jansseen Hill, Michael O’Neill, Darren Dunne, Aimee Murphy, Abigail Reilly and Hazel Smith

With this year’s participants now in the final days prior to their first race, family and friends are invited along to Naas Races to show their support.
