Kildare GAA:  Sunday Championship results

This afternoon there were SFC wins for Naas, Confey and Celbridge in the Senior Football Championship.

Naas had to work hard to defeat Johnstownbridge, the underdogs led at the break by one but the champions upped thier game on the resumption and in the end had four points to spare.

Confey put on an impressive display in dismissing a poor Carbury side while Celbridge got over the challenge of Raheens winnning by four in the end.

The draw for the opening rounds of the winners' and losers group will take place tomorrow, Monday, at 6.30 in Manguard Park. The draw will be live on Leinster Leader twitter account.
