Tim Ryan in top form for Ardclough against Moorefield

Ardclough retained their senior hurling status with a very comfortable victory over Moorefield in Round 3 of the UPMC SHC Group B game at Manguard Park, this evening (Thursday 28 August).

This result was never in doubt with Ardclough taking control from the start, totally dominating the opening half, leading 4-16 to 0-8 at half-time with Ronan O'Malley hitting 3-3.

Moorefield, who now drop down to Senior B Championsip next season, did score a total of 20 points along with a late goal but never threatened the Ardclough boys who in the end won on a score line of Ardclough 4-28 Moorefield 1-21.
