Leixlip Cathal Derivan shortens his grip to get his clearance away as Broadford Eoin Sheehan arrives to try and block during the 2025 UPMC Senior B Hurling Championship
Leixlip booked their place in the UPMC SHC 'B' final following their 12 point over Broadford at Manguard Park, Hawkfield, on Wendesday evening.
Strong favouites to advance, Leixlip led at the break by five points, but it was the opening seven or eight minutes of the second half when they really put their stamp on this game, hitting an impressive 2-2 to all but seal their victory with goals from Stephen Ryan and James Canning to add to Jack Travers opening half green flag.
Broadford certainly did not roll over and gave it their all, although the results was certainly never in doubt, after the early second half blitz.
