VIDEO: Light show in Kildare Town to mark St Brigid's Day

Kildare Chamber of Commerce and Destination Kildare Town organised a light show in the town last night to mark St Brigid's Day.

Feile Bride

Meanwhile the 25th Feile Bride festival kicked off in Kildare Town on Sunday with seven days of activities planned under the theme: Flame of Justice and Peace.

Many events are taking place in the Solas Bhride Centre on Tully Road.

A concert featuring performers Luka Bloom, Fionnuala Gill and Cormac Breatnach is scheduled for tonight.

Also in the programme is an Eucharistic Celebration at St Brigid's Well while visitors will be welcomed every day to St Brigid's Cathedral.
