Construction begins on third phase of €12.9M housing project in north Kildare

Work has began on the third phase of a large housing development in Maynooth, with this part of the project set to deliver an additional 25 houses to the area.

Work began on the initial phase of the development on January 9 this year when the construction of units 16-26 got underway, before the main work was done on houses number 1-15 from February 8 onwards.

This part of the €12.9 million residential development will see construction on house numbers 27-52 begin, with an overall number of 141 units set to be built before the project completion date on December 21 of this year.

The range of houses will vary from 14 two-storey semi-detached houses, 36 two-storey terraced houses, 76 duplex units in nine three-storey buildings consisting of 48 three-bed duplex units and 28 two-bed units predominantly at second floor level above the duplex units, and 15 apartments in a three-storey building consisting of 6 one-bed units and 9 two-bed units.
