'A sassy little angel': Viewers burst with laughter over Kildare Traitor contestant's antics

Potassium is apparently ‘very important’ for being an effective Traitor, according to one viewer
One funny contestant on the Irish version of The Traitors is going down a storm — and the best part is, he hails from Kildare!
Pádraic K’s antics on the show have been making the rounds on social media, and he has been leaning into the hilarity without hesitation on his own social media page.
Taking to Instagram, Pádraic, who is an Assistant Professor at UCD as well as being an author, released a thank you post to all of his followers for their support thus far.
However, he also included a humourous out-of-context screengrab from the show, which shows him eating a banana.
“Major lesson learned: don’t suggestively eat a banana on television,” Pádraic joked.
This prompted a litany of responses from fans — one said: “Sum snake u ar [sic] hun, but you’re doing so well so far, no one suspects a thing! Which is perfect, who would suspect a sassy little angel.”
Another proclaimed: “Hoooofing it in.”
A third user also opined: “Potassium is very important for being a cunning Traitor.”
In addition, Pádraic shared a clip from the show which displayed another example of his quick wit.
In the clip, he took mock offence at the suggestion that he is ‘not good looking enough’ to be a Traitor.
He replied: “Jesus, I must be rotten so... Seriously? I’m not f**king good looking enough to be a Traitor? I’m getting done dirty here!”
The Traitors will continue on RTÉ One on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesday.
It can also be viewed on RTÉ Player.
