Co Kildare town to experience traffic disruptions

Disruptions are expected in a Co Kildare town over the next few weeks.

Works on Main Street Naas, are expected to continue for approximately seven weeks. The works include new ducting to facilitate the undergrounding of ESB cables and the provision of new public lighting poles and other minor civil works. The works extend from the Presbyterian Church to the former Superquinn entrance. The appointed contractors will be liaising directly with businesses on this section of roadway with regard to required power outages and maintaining pedestrian/customer access.

The improvement works may cause some temporary inconvenience to businesses and members of the public. The new lighting and undergrounding of cables will result in a significant visual improvement to the streetscape along this section of roadway.
